Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 3.5-hour drive to Luxor City. Upon arrival, head for a visit to the Temple of Karnak, the largest manmade religious complex ever built. This vast complex was built and enlarged over a 1,300-year period, and is comprised of three main temples, smaller enclosed temples and several outer temples. During your visit, see the impressive Avenue of the Sphinx, which links Karnak with the Luxor Temple. In addition, view the massive statues of Ramses II, great halls and pylons, and pink granite obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut.

Nile River, Lunch Cruise and Queen Nefertari Tomb

Next, embark a sailing vessel for a relaxing lunch cruise whilst crossing the Nile River to the West Bank. Upon arrival, disembark the boat and proceed to the Queen Nefertari Tomb. Valley of the Kings, Seti I Tomb, King Tutankhamen Tomb and Nile Cruise

Your tour continues with a stop at the Valley of the Kings. Here, visit the Seti I Tomb, which is the largest and most beautiful tomb in the valley, and adorned with beautiful paintings. A visit is then made to the famous tomb of King Tutankhamen. Time-permitting, a brief stop is made at one or two other tombs in the area before embarking the boat for the cruise back to the East Bank. Upon arrival at the Bedouin camp, you are welcomed by the Bedouins and taken on a tour of their camp whilst learning about their culture and lifestyle. Luxor Temple

Depart the pier for the approximate 3.5 to 4 hour drive to Luxor. Upon arrival, your first stop is at the spectacular Luxor Temple. The original temple complex was built during the New Kingdom on the site of an older sanctuary. Over the centuries, various rulers made additions that included statues, chapels, a colonnade and a sun court. Ramses II added a statue of himself and a pair of 82-foot (25-metre) obelisks; one of them was taken to Paris in 1835, and today stands in the Place de la Concorde.

Lunch and the Valley of the Kings

Next, re-board your coach and proceed for a buffet lunch at a 5-star deluxe Hotel. After lunch, drive across the Nile to the West Bank for a visit to the Valley of the Kings. During a period of 500 years from the 16th to 11th century B.C., tombs were constructed in this Theban Necropolis for the kings and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom.

The 'wadi' consists of two valleys, the East Valley, where the bulk of the royal tombs are situated, and the West Valley. To date, 63 tombs have been discovered, with chambers ranging in size from a simple pit to a complex tomb with over 120 chambers. Most of the tombs were cut into the limestone, and took six years to complete, depending upon their size. The most notable tomb discovered in the valley is that of King Tutankhamun, as it includes a display of the young king's mummified body. A visit to King Tutankhamun's tomb is not included but can be arranged in advance.

Queen Hatshepsut Temple

Following your visit, a photo stop is made at the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is dramatically perched at the head of a valley overshadowed by the peak of the Thebes. Queen Hatshepsut was the fifth pharaoh of the 18th dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Egyptologists generally regard her as one of the most successful pharaohs, reigning longer than any other woman of an indigenous Egyptian dynasty.

Colossi of Memnon

A final photo stop is made at the Colossi of Memnon, a pair of colossal statues standing alone in a farmer's field. The statues are all that remains of the Temple of Amenhotep III. From here, drive back across the Nile to the East Bank and enjoy an afternoon tea at a 5 stars deluxe restaurant, then commence the approximately 3.5 to 4 hour drive back to the pier.

This area of the Red Sea is known as one of the best snorkelling spots in the world. Enjoy the opportunity to snorkel among colorful tropical fish and intricate coral formations on this half-day excursion.

Departing from the pier, it is a short drive to the motorboat, where you embark for a journey to discover the underwater marine life of the Red Sea.

Luxor Museum & Lunch

Upon arrival in Luxor, proceed to the Luxor Museum. This marvellous museum overlooks the west bank of the Nile River, and has an amazing collection of ancient artefacts. Displays range from magnificent Pharaonic art to items used in everyday life, such as pottery and jewellery, including a carefully selected assortment of items from the Theban temples and necropolis. It includes items from King Tutankhamun Tomb, a collection of 26 new kingdom statues and the Royal mummies of two pharaohs. At the conclusion of your visit to the Luxor Museum, proceed for lunch one of Luxor deluxe hotels.

Karnak Temple Complex

After lunch, transfer to the nearby Karnak Temple the largest religious complex ever built by man. Built, enlarged and decorated over a period of nearly 1,500 years, the grand Karnak Temple Complex is the most important sanctuary of the cult that worshipped the sun god, Ra-Amun. The entrance and main axis are lined by ram-headed Sphinxes leading to the first Pylon, and into the Great Court. This is the largest single area of the Karnak Temple, and highlighted by 134 huge columns. Your visit covers the most important parts of this magnificent temple complex. You will have a chance to see the impressive Avenue of the Sphinx, linking Karnak with Luxor Temple and view the massive statues of Ramses II, the great halls and pylons, and the pink granite obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut.
