2.Tag:  Abholung Ihrer Frühstücksbox im Hotel und zeitiger Transfer zum Flughafen für Ihren ca. zweistündigen Linienflug nach Ayers Rock. Nach der Ankunft folgt die Besichtigung der ca. 36 km westlich von Ayers Rock entfernt gelegenen Olgas, eine Felsenformation, die von den Aborigines den Namen "Icatatjuta" erhielt, was "viele Köpfe" bedeutet. Diese eigenwilligen Gesteinsformationen erreichen eine Höhe von bis zu 546 m. Gelegenheit für einen Rundgang durch die Schluchten. Weiterfahrt zum Hotel, Mittagessen und Check-in. Am späten Nachmittag werden Sie in die Wüste zu Ihrem “Field of Lights Dinner” unter freiem Sternenhimmel gebracht. Die genaue Zeit wird Ihnen vor Ort mitgeteilt. Zunächst erleben Sie bei einem Glas Sekt und Canapés den berühmten Sonnenuntergang am Ayers Rock (Uluru). Das einzigartige Naturphänomen liegt inmitten des "Red Centers" und wird auf etwa 600 Mio. Jahre geschätzt. Anschließend genießen Sie ein Buffet-Abendessen unter freiem Sternenhimmel bei Kerzenschein und australischen Weinen, Bier und alkoholfreien Getränken. Ein Astronom erklärt Ihnen anschließend den Sternenhimmel der südlichen Hemisphaere. Gelegenheit für einen Spaziergang durch die Lichterinstalation "Field of Lights". Anschließend Rückkehr zum Hotel und Übernachtung.
3. Tag: Frühmorgens Abholung vom Hotel. Erleben Sie den Sonnenaufgang am Ayers Rock hautnah. Sie unternehmen einen Spaziergang um den Ayers Rock und sehen die Höhlen der Aborigines und deren Höhlenzeichnungen. Sie besichtigen auch das Maruku Kunst- und Handwerkszentrum. Nach dem Frühstück erleben Sie ein Maruku Arts Dot Painting Workshop und lernen einige der Grundzeichnungen der örtlichen Anangu Aboriginals. Ein Aboriginal Künstler führt Sie in die Kunst ein und anschliessend haben Sie selbst die Gelegenheit, ein Kunstwerk zu erstellen, welches Sie mit nach Hause nehmen koennen. Fahrt durch das Outback, die rote Wüste Australiens und kurzer Fotostopp am Tafelberg Mt. Conner.  Unterwegs Mittagessen und Weiterfahrt nach Alice Springs. Abendessen und Übernachtung im Hotel. 
4. Tag: Genießen Sie Ihr Frühstück, bevor Sie sich per Bus auf den Weg machen, Alice Springs und die MacDonnell Ranges zu erkunden. Sie lernen die Royal Flying Doctor Base und die "School of Air" (Schulunterricht per Funk und Radio) kennen und genießen die Aussicht vom Anzac Hügel über die Stadt und die Gebirgskette. Die MacDonnell Ranges sind schätzungsweise 310 bis 340 Millionen Jahre alt und entstanden durch massive Erdbewegungen, die einen grossen Teil des Roten Zentrums geformt haben. Immer wieder wird die Bergkette von Schluchten unterbrochen. Zwei davon werden Sie besuchen: Simpsons Gap und Standley Chasm. Während der Spaziergänge genießen Sie die schöne Landschaft. Mittagessen unterwegs und Rückkehr nach Alice Springs. Abendessen in einem Restaurant und Übernachtung im Hotel.
5. Tag: Frühstück im Hotel und Transfer zum Flughafen für Ihren Weiterflug nach Darwin. Nach der Ankunft in Darwin erfolgt der Transfer zum Schiff für die Wiedereinschiffung an Bord.

Entlang der spektakulären Küstenstraße fahren Sie in den ältesten Regenwald der Welt, den Daintree Nationalpark, wo der tropische Regenwald den Strand berührt. Hier treffen zwei UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe aufeinander. Zunächst fahren Sie zur Mossman Gorge, wo Sie von einem Aboriginal Gästeführer traditionell begrüßt werden. Anschliessend unternehmen Sie einen etwa 1,5-stündigen Spaziergang durch den üppigen Regenwald entlang des Mossman-Flusses. Mossman Gorge ist das Tor zum Daintree-Nationalpark. Weiterfahrt in die von Zuckerrohrfeldern umgebene kleine Stadt Mossman. Cairns City

Cairns is only 140 years old and the first Europeans and Chinese came to the area in the rush for gold. The fortune hunters braved the crocodile infested waters, the dense rainforests, the heavy monsoonal rains, the stingers and the heat, to build what is still the last city on the road going north from Sydney. To this day the Yirrganydji and the Yidinji Aboriginal people walk this land. The Cairns of today is a chic tourism town with cafes and shops, your guide will point out the historic buildings, natural sights and the special places that have created this tropical paradise.


Cairns Museum

The walk will bring you to Cairns Museum where your guide will give you a 30 minute guided tour through the exhibits. The museum has amazing stories to share about living in the tropics through a collection of objects, photographs and archival records. You will learn stories of heat, sweat and hard work, of cane, railways, rainforests and reefs. As well as discovering the history of white Australia, Aboriginal resistance and European isolation.


The tour will conclude at the museum from where guests will need to take a short walk back to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 2.7 kilometres (1.7 miles). There will be seating available at regular intervals; however guests should be capable of comfortably walking the entire distance. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. The terrain is mostly flat, paved or a wooden boardwalk; however some natural and uneven ground may be encountered. We recommend guests wear light comfortable clothing and comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection, a hat, sunglasses and a bottle of water from the ship. Tour includes admission into the Cairns Museum. The tour concludes at the Cairns Museum which is located approximately 900 metres (0.6 miles) from the pier.
